The general role for the Field Technician is to ensure the proper execution of field work and coordination of the field activities.

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities

Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc. Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with LIN SCAN QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.

Skills/Experience:

Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience as FE/FT in Oil&Gas or Pipeline construction, pipeline commissioning, NDT & similar; Mechanical Degree or Metallurgy is must; English Language is must and additional language is advantage; Ready to travel extensively.
