Customer Formulation Nutritionist

 

Position Purpose & Summary

 

This is a key position that provides our internal and external customers with best nutritional solution within the set of requirements and restrictions identified, based on least cost formulation. Current and new formulations across species are designed and maintained in feed formulation software. From here they are transferred to the production environment meeting the requirements for optimum production and efficiency within the factory.

 

Principal Accountabilities

Optimisation of nutritional requests, creating best offer from as well nutritional and commercial perspective

In conjunction with purchasing, to evaluate opportunity costings of new raw materials and advise SMT species teams on any opportunities for cost savings in their product portfolio

Be the feed formulation partner for internal and external customer and become the go-to person for ingredient know how and nutrient evaluation related questions; keep nutrient matrix up to date

Coordinate NIR support to customers

Support the creation of material master data in the ERP system to support

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

 

Graduated Animal breeding, Zootechnics, Animal Nutrition from Agricultural University English/Polish pre-intermediate levelExperience and willingness to develop skills within an international setting and multi-disciplinary teamsAchieving a standard of excellence within work processes and outcomesStriving for high customer satisfactionTaking ownership of work and following throughStrong interpersonal relationship-building skillsSelf-starter, but team playerEffective communication skills both written and verbalPreferred Qualifications:Over 3 years demonstrated expertise and proven track record in animal nutrition, with relevant species either in Sales or Technology;Over 1 year experience in monogastric formulation.
