This is a key operations position with well established asset based trucking company. We are in period of growth and expansion that requires additional help. Vision for this position is someone who is flexible, communicable and eager to learn new trade.

Primary Responsibilities:

Searching freight to haul using load boards and our existing customer base
Negotiate best rates
Dispatch Drivers effectively, efficiently and most important profitably
Provide customers with updates on their loads while truck is in transit
Maintain locations of all your drivers on an ongoing bases

Requirements:

English Upper intermediate to fluent (interview with native speaker)
Strong multitasking skills
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Comfortable with use of new technologies
Logistics experience preferred but not required
Excellent problem-solving skills
Negotiation skills
Professional and courteous attitude when dealing with drivers & customers
Ability to handle 50−60 inbound/outbound calls per shift
Ability to manage 5−10 Drivers
Ability to work 10 hour shifts (15:00—01:00)
