Job Purpose:
Lead a group of Brand Managers, Customer Marketing and Digital Marketing Specialists (team of 13-15 people; 5 direct reports) to provide support and direction to Russian division on the marketing issues. Follow strategic priorities set by region, identify opportunities, develop brand launches and marketing and customer marketing tools. In accordance with guidelines of the region ensure implementation of the advertising and promotional programs to assist in achieving business unit objectives. Perform as brand champion and liaison for Regional Brand Group and sales personnel.
Key Result Areas, Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
Leadership role: coach and manage the team members to enhance performance and personal development; follow regional priorities, provide leadership and direction, identify training and development needs, facilitate decision making process when needed, guide sales team, on the marketing issues, strategies and priorities Business planning:Together with Country Manager and Regional Brand Activation Lead develop and implement Russian market strategies; Develop sales & marketing plans for Russia together with the Sales team; Identify tools necessary for support and effective development of the Russiam market; Provide all strategic and marketing support to sales team for developing MSAP; Lead along with Sales manager customer initiatives like Shop-in-Shop; Shoppers’ Research and Category Management; Analyse and develop media strategies and recommendations for Russiam market; Coordinate the planning and implementation of the brand management process; Develop Market Taylored and Generic Strategic Plans using regional brand policy recommendation as a basis, focusing on key priorities to achieve sales and profit objectives; Explore, suggest possibilities and propose launch plans for the new relevant opportunities from Mattel portfolio Brand Management: Guide brand managers team in development of the Marketing Tools, such as merchandising and media guidelines, promotional recommendations and other relevant information to support sales plans; Implement possible efficiencies in media buying and / or creative development; Work with sales and local marketing teams to monitor and report key market trends and make appropriate promotional or product launch & developments recommendations, if feasible; Recommend set up and prepare support materials and presentations for the key Sales & Marketing Russian shows, such as Toy Fairs, Line Reviews, etc. Sales & Profit: Ensure that marketing plans for each brand group are targeting achievement of the optimal market share, sales and profit objectives; Stimulate effective and timely implementation of new plans and product introductions; Monitor quota and margin on the key promotional items of Russia as well as preparing post-campaign and sell-through analysis; Develop and adapt marketing plans focusing on market share growth, sales and profit objectives and changes in sales performance in the market; Monitor and analyse key pricing and advertising initiatives; Maintain and monitor budget and administrative expenditure within Business Unit Digital Marketing & E-comm: The primary role of this individual is to strategize and guide the Digital Marketing Team at a local market level to the regional digital direction. This person will become the local digital expert responsible for driving flawless digital execution across Mattel Brands to drive competitive advantage in an ever changing and highly dynamic environment. Frame & locally deploy the e-commerce strategy designed for key channels: market place, omni-channel and pure players. Locally deploy digital media strategy to ensure our brands are positioned appropriately across all digital media. Design and execute owned social media strategy for Russia. Drive local SEO/SEA activity, including keyword research, SEO/SEM copywriting and continual analysis of trends and changes in the market focusing on the quality of content, ad words and links. Provide support in CRM data base recruitment and engagement tactics, triggered e-mails & tree, programmatic advertising and data bases exchange.Key Relationships:

Educational background:
MA/MS/MBA (Masters/Post Graduate/ Advanced Degree) in marketing/ business or similar
Professional experience:
Experience: 5-7 years marketing experience, preferably in FMCG or branded consumer goods industries, sales experience is beneficial; International / cross-cultural experience is a plus;
Technical competencies:
Familiar with MS Office
Fluent in written and spoken English
