Core Job Responsibilities:
1. EFFECTIVE SALES MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING
1.1. Develop execution plan to sell the proposed sales forecast and achieve national sales targets.
1.2. Achieve national sales plan numbers.
1.3. Prepare a yearly plan for the whole area of responsibility, comprising all the resources needed for developing an effective team and area to achieve national sales targets and revise this plan quarterly in line with planned and actual figures.
1.4. Review and approve proposed sales forecast in conjunction with Country Manager and Product Manager/Marketing team.
1.5. Review promotional plans and ensure resources are planned.
1.6. Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedback and market intelligence to Marketing Department.
1.7. Effectively manage sales teams’ expense budgets.
1.8. Maintain contact with key accounts; identify opportunities for corporate marketing and cultivate as appropriate.
1.9. Oversee all tenders and proposals submitted for business across all divisions.
1.10. Ensure 40 to 50% of total working time is spent in the field with the sales team.
1.11. To manage projects for developing business.
1.12. Review and agree forecast & assumption provided by area managers/ supervisors.
1.13. Participate in developing criteria for client’s classification, review the process of classification & communicate changes when necessary to defined owner.
1.14. Ensure transmitting precisely and correctly the information used in sales force promotions to the healthcare professionals, through promotional materials.
2. DATA COLLECTION AND REPORTING
2.1. Provide required data regularly to Direct Manager according to approved terms and communicate all necessary information to Direct Reports.
2.2. Provide sales information to Product Managers each month to support development of proposed forecast.
2.3. Manage abnormal demand and provide information to Demand Manager/ Customer Service Manager.
2.4. To follow company’s policies and procedures (including the PV policy and Code of Business Conduct).
3. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
3.1. Ensure the effective implementation and follow up of Performance Excellence Program for subordinates:
- Provide direction to facilitate goal setting process in line with Corporate and Division goals; monitor progress; measure results; reward incentive/ merit payments; performance appraisals.
-Select or approve the selection and training of staff. Establish lines of control and delegate responsibility appropriately.
-Develop subordinates to facilitate succession planning.
- Ensure realization of the core job responsibilities.
- Select and interview new recruits to the team .
- Prepare training and growth plan for each direct report; plan and follow up trainings.
4. EHS (ENVIRONEMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY) PROGRAMS
Main job Requirements:
- University degree (preferably in Marketing, Business Administration);
- Preferably at least 5 years of Sales management experience within pharmaceutical industry;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
- English language intermediate (as minimum).
