We are inviting strong developer with data science experience to join our R&D team to help us maintain and implement various analytic, machine learning and data manipulation modules.
Our team works on the following directions:
Products sales estimation of online retailers like Amazon, Tmall, etc.
Causal Analytics to explain sales changes and suggest actions to boost them
Similar products detection
Products classification into client’s custom categories
Product brands recognition
Aspect based sentiment analysis of product reviews
Products packing detection
Responsibilities:
Support existing and develop new ETL processes using Java/Kotlin and Python Monitor performance, advise and implement any necessary infrastructure changes Investigate hypotheses using raw data Support and develop CI/CD tools Embed new ML models to current data flows and business processes Optimize ML models to run with large amounts of dataSkills & Requirements:
3+ years of experience with some significant object-oriented language: Java, C++, C#, Python, PHP, etc. Ability to learn and use any language Solid understanding of OOP, algorithms and data structures and their usage Advanced knowledge of multithreading and multiprocessing programming Solid understanding of performance optimization Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL) Experience of working in Linux environment Experience with Hadoop stack (HDFS, Spark, MapRed, Hbase, Hive, etc.) is a big plus Experience with messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka) will be a plus Some experience in machine learning algorithms will be a plus Good level of English Strong desire to learn new and improve your skills Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues Ability to work independently with attention to detail when performing tasks Last but not least: Be proactive, goal-oriented and a good teammate.
