Oxagile, a leading-edge full-cycle custom software development company, is looking for a proactive, experienced Java Developer to join our Minsk office.

You will work at the challenging projects that utilize state-of-the-art technologies and deliver value to high-profile clients across Europe and the United States brands such as Disney, JumpTV, Discovery, Google, Vodafone, etc.

The group of projects for one of the world largest household and video devices manufacturer.
The projects covers:
- video streaming solutions
- video conversion
- video analytics
- face recognitions
and other software solutions for video domen

Responsibilities:

Perform requirements analysis to define possibility and way how to implement them Clarify all tasks and business requirements during the technical review sessions Split assigned tasks into the subtasks Participation in the estimates of stories (in story points), tasks and sub-tasks (in hours) Implement Subtasks according to the requirements and company code guidelines Follow the company's Git flow Perform code review (both own code and code of the Junior developers ) Create and update technical documentation Escalate project problems (software, hardware, resources) to SM/Dev Lead. Help to identify and implement new development process improvements Perform mentoring of the Junior developers

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ year(s) in Java/J2EE technologies Good understanding of concurrency Web services, strong understanding of REST principles Understanding of web-application development process Build frameworks (Maven, Gradle) Basic SQL knowledge Version control systems (Git, Subversion) Basic experience with Linux (Bash scripting) Intermediate English speaking

Preferred Qualifications:

Spring stack (Core, MVC, Boot, Security, Data) Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins) Junit and Mockito frameworks
