Job Description:

DevOps Engineer will work as full time member of a specialized global team known as System team. This team supports integration of assets from Agile teams, performs end-to-end Solution testing where necessary, and assists with deployment and release. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for assisting in building and using the Agile development environment, including Continuous Integration, test automation, and Continuous Deployment.

Responsibilities

● Ability to evaluate and build POCs, make recommendations around tools and technologies for continuous integration, build automation and deployments

● Create and maintain infrastructure for continuous solution integration, automated builds, and automated build verification testing

● Create platforms and environments for solution demos, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and staging

● Create tools, utilities, and scripts to automate solution deployment

● Determine and help maintain decisions and policies for appropriate branching models

● Run solution-level integration scripts for features

● Assist System and Solution Engineering in identifying system shortfalls and bottlenecks ● Help agile teams prepare, package, and deploy a solution into the target environment

● Create and maintain continuous delivery pipeline

● Facilitate transition to operations on new release deployments

● Plan out the release with Operations

● Verify the deployments configurations with Operations before roll out

● Display and encourage highest level of positive professional culture

Requirements

● 3+ years experience in building software using DevOps practice

● Experience with cloud based hosting and virtualization technologies like VMware

● Experience in developing build/integration automation through Hudson/Jenkins

● Experience working with SCM like SVN, Git etc.

● Experience with scripting language to build utilities

● Experience working on distributed Architecture such as SOA/Microservices

● Experience with Maven/Gradle, ELK stack, Chef/Ansible, Nexus, Sonar, CI/CD, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, AWX, AnsibleTower, Artifactory is a plus

● Familiarity working with project tracking systems, such as Jira, Confluence

● Strong documentation and presentation skills

● Exceptionally self-motivated, solid interpersonal skills and a good communicator

● Extremely detailed oriented, committed to excellence

● Excellent problem solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges.

● Demonstrated ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment within a start-up culture.

● Familiarity working with global teams.

● English level: Intermediate at a minimum.

● Open to work in shifts and weekends, when circumstances warrant.

● Valid Passport and willing to travel at short notice
