JOB FUNCTION
This Specialist will report to the Staff Accountant and/or Corporate Controller; will assist in day-to-day Accounting activities, primarily in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and Billing; will assist the company’s consultants with Private Entrepreneur reporting, to help them be most efficient administratively and other co-workers, as requested.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
- Billing of time and expenses to the client
- Ensure that employee timecards and expense reports are completed timely and accurately, follow up missing or unposted timecards and expense reports if any, before billing. Follow up on missing comments.
- Timely and accurate production of invoices by obtaining proper approvals from project managers.
- Ensure that customers are billed at proper rates according to professional services agreements, work orders, or change orders.
- Issue customer credits as approved by managers.
- Managing and prioritizing a daily workload, consistently meeting deadlines to ensure high-quality service.
- Produce reporting for company consultants working as Private Entrepreneurs in Ukraine.
- Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
- What We’re Looking For: At least 1 year of accounts receivable/accounts payable and collection experience.
- At least 1 year of billing experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as good organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn computer financial software.
- A customer-centric approach with a sense of urgency Ability to establish and nourish effective working relationships with customers, managers, subcontractors, and fellow employees at SIS.
- A self-starter and «can-do» mentality and able to work with minimal direction.
- High standards of integrity, honesty, moral and ethical values.
- Must be able to work in a small office environment where priorities can quickly change.
- English language at least B2 or upper intermediate level
- Must be a team player.
- Bonus Points If You Have: Business or Accounting degree
- Microsoft Dynamics SL «Solomon» experience
