Our client is international Oil and Gas Company has opened a vacancy "Well Control / Process Safety Engineer".

Responsibilities:

Provision of expertise and support for Company operations in the areas of Well Control and Process Safety from design to execution stage;

Focal point for the interface and management of Company Emergency Well Control service provider(s) and custodian of the Well Control Contingency Plan;

Drives excellence in Well Control and Process Safety across all 3 rigs as the Well Control SME and Process Safety Focal Point;

Understands the criticality of process safety (well control) in Company operations and apply risk management tools to mitigate to ALARP;

Focal Point for relevant and applicable audits;

Focal point for related interactions with other departments in Company (Production Directorate, Corporate HSE, Industrial Safety, etc.);

Ensures compliance of major equipment, including MOC (Management of Change) for new equipment installation, including technical evaluations;

Development and execution of Well Control and Process Safety contracts strategies for a group of contracts under responsibility, together with C&P wells category managers;

Post award contracts management for all contracts under responsibility, including development and maintenance of contract management and HSE management plans, Russian Content development plans, development and monitoring of effective KPIs, leading all working meetings and negotiations with contractors on all aspects of contracts, contracts optimization, ensure compliance with all contract management procedures etc.;

Ensure effective post award contracts administration, including making sure that Contractor's and Company liabilities are fulfilled as per contracts, participation in checking and approval of contractors’ quotations and acts of acceptance, ensure availability of sufficient approved contract value, initiation of contracts amendment in case of changes in business requirements, ensure contracts close-out steps are carried out on time etc.
