IKEA Industry Novgorod Flatline Factory is a greenfield project started by Inter IKEA group in 2016. Key products in our portfolio are METOD cabinets and PAX wardrobes delivered to IKEA customers in Europe, Russia and UAE. Operating new high-tech equipment, we produce 20 cabinets and 14 shelves per minute with ambition to reach yearly capacity 7 million cabinets in 2020. To enable our growth agenda and better utilize we are currently looking for Technical Manager to join Factory Management Team. Technical Manager will directly report to Factory Manager and functionally to Division Technical Manager based in IKEA Industry headquarter in Sweden.

Your Role

Manage Product and Process Engineering, Infrastructure and Equipment Maintenance, Project Engineering Departments of the factory. Improve technological lines performance to increase production efficiency Lead strategic process and product development agenda to meet ambitious factory goals for 2023. Secure production modernization and new equipment installation projects delivery in a safe, timely and cost-efficient way, supervise Management of Change process according to company standard. Set service targets and ensure delivery of efficient infrastructure maintenance on the territory of 200.000 m² (land), 50.000 m² (shop floor and warehouse), 2.000 m² (office and social areas). Secure excellent equipment maintenance (PLC, electricians and mechanical co-workers) meeting operational needs; contribute to factory efficiency improvement. Develop Technical Team with 40 employees onboard including 5 direct reports on leadership positions. Conduct yearly management and competence review and succession planning. Budgeting, follow up and reporting according to IKEA Industry standard. Enhance vendor management, optimize utilization of resources. Secure compliance to Russian legislation and corporate administrative and sustainability policy. Contribute to cost-out agenda and other cross-functional projects with technical know-how.

Your Profile

Higher technical education. 3+ years engineering and/or equipment maintenance management experience. English at Upper-Intermediate level. Proficient PC user (MS Excel, Word, Power Point; ERP). Proven leadership competence with 7+ team size under supervision. Team-player, critical thinking, innovative approach, ability to balance big picture and attention to detail. Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing methods and tools (TPM, 5S, SPS). Experience with Talent Management systems would be an advantage.
