REQUIREMENTS:
More than 10 year experience in Oil and Gas industr. Minimum five years experience on electronic control of gas turbines in LNG plant; Familiarity and field experience with electronic control and monitoring equipment; Proficient with Speedtronic™ Mark V and Mark VI (or equivalent) and DCS control systems, Bently Nevada , Compressor Control Corporation ; OEM training certification requiredRESPONSIBILITIES:
Project phaseThe Condition Monitoring Engineer take the responsibility to review all technical requirements of monitoring & controls hardware and software related to rotating equipment to seamlessly integrates the design with the operations. Review and comment as Company representative all related engineering deliverables ensuring the compliance with Company requirements, sound engineering practices, including the interface between the monitoring & control software and hardware environment.
Operation phase: the Condition Monitoring Engineer will take primary responsibility for the management of all monitoring & controls related to rotating equipment, including the interface between the control software and hardware environment. Act as a prime interface to collect data and Site information to identify at the early stage the Rotating Equipment behavioral changes, to allow troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Performs troubleshooting, reliability improvement review, maintains and updates Company equipment drawings, standards, procedures and specifications related to Monitoring & Control of Rotating Equipment; Conduct detailed maintenance planning, pre-Outage, Outage and post-Outage planning activities in conjunction with other Company Dept. Propose detailed work scope for each planned or unplanned Outage. Identify the control changes which need to be subject to the Company plant change procedure Assist with regular reviews of maintenance activities associated with the control aspects of the Rotating Equipment. Respond to the Company technical inquiries utilizing OEM or Vendor technical support services Provide information regarding the latest advancement monitoring and control opportunities to Company and assist with implementation of any recommendations. Work with the Company’s Site teams to develop maintenance schedules associated with the control systems, which optimize rotating Equipment reliability and availability. Lead the team of Monitoring technicians and Specialists to maintain a documented history of all monitoring & control system changes or modifications. Support the Company’s operation & maintenance staff with diagnosing and resolving maintenance or operational problems on the rotating Equipment. Support Company staff in diagnosis and resolving problems, which cause or may potentially cause negative impacts on LNG production.Provide on-the-job training of Company’s operation & maintenance staff. For the purpose of “on the job training” shall mean training performed during the day-by-day activities without requirement of additional resources, tool, trainers, equipment and certificate
