Accountability:

To manage and engineer multi-discipline projects from front end, detail design, construction, commissioning, hand-over and close-out, within schedule and cost to an acceptable quality.

Basic functions:

Single point responsible for the efficient execution of assigned projects to deliver within schedule, cost, HSE and at an acceptable quality.

Develop scope of work handed over by the SEIC project engineer for each project to achieve the specified deliverables. Develop cost and schedule control estimates and project key control documentation. Bundling work packages and handing them to Melbourne Delivery offices and Russian Design Institutes.

Responsible for management of all project reporting, interface definition, interface management, liaison with COMPANY project and discipline engineers, maintain and control project variance logs, project audit reports, managing close-out of audit action items, early highlight and resolution of project issues.

Interfacing with the client both in office and at site.

Good planning and organisational skills, ability to manage change and motivate and develop teams.

Good business commercial appreciation and judgement.

Skilled in conduction formal meetings, summarising and close-out pending issues and preparing Minutes of Meetings.

PC Literate.

Minimum of 5 years experience in design, specification, construction and general project engineering of oil and gas facilities, with a sound knowledge (min. 3 years experience) of project cost control / planning, systems.

Shall have worked as a single-point responsible project engineer for several small/ medium sized oil/gas projects or managing multiple smaller projects concurrently. Shall have proven capabilities in managing and motivating all disciplines to deliver projects.

Degree in relevant Engineering discipline and membership of internationally recognised applicable professional institute and preferably Post Graduate degree in Engineering.

Terms and conditions:

Office based position (not rotation), normal working hours - 40 hours per week, private medical insurance, annual legal travel compensation, 50% subsidized membership in the local fitness centres, employment by Russian subcontractor company "Gazproektengineering".
