Responsibilities: Prepare department procedures, methods, and new techniques in Chemical EOR research studies under minimal supervision. Assist to interpret and analyze lab data and issue basic technical reports. Participate in technical societies and technical groups. Collect all safety related materials to help address environmental impact when developing recommendations. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager. Requirements: Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent) with 5 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, 2 years’ experience for candidates with Master, or fresh Ph.D. graduate in above major. Must be able to work in the Chemical EOR lab. Ability to interpret basic lab data and provide technical support for chemical EOR operations, including QA/QC, application of state-of-the-art technologies and troubleshooting. Familiar with PE software applications, including Matlab, CMG, Eclipse, UTChem.
