Mile Marker Technician’s responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

Setting up and updating the progress program (Mile Marker) with the quantities installed and % complete in the different milestones. Generate the reports with the data that is used by the Planners / Schedulers to analyze the progress, performance and to create the project curves. Attends regular progress meetings with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction, as appropriate, to ensure the work is being fulfilled in accordance with the agreed programs. Ensures the proper interfacing of programs between Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning as appropriate. Ensures that the timely collection of accurately updated information is incorporated into programs, analyses the effects of the updated information and highlights any adverse situations to the Fabrication Management team. Ensures the timely preparation of charts and diagrams as required for reports, indicating planned, actual and forecast. Assists with preparation of narratives for reports, analyses achievements and their likely effects on remaining scope of work. Incorporates changes to the scope of work
