Job Responsibilities: Establish and support proactive and collaborative working relationships with Project Teams and site Contractors. Lead QC efforts relative to piping to ensure adherence with COMPANY technical requirements and applicable codes. Work with a proactive approach to prevent quality issues through review and improvement. Provide mentoring and SME expertise to site execution teams to avoid/resolve quality problems. Provide early warning of potential quality problems; ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed. Witness on-site Piping / Mechanical inspections, conduct surveillances, and system walk down during execution activities. Verify that testing procedures have been approved and available on site. Confirm testing equipment is calibrated and parameters are properly recorded and documented. Monitor witness and hold point inspections during construction and/or assembly in accordance with the CONTRACTOR’s ITP. Verify that work is built in accordance to the design and verify against approved drawings. Support all FGP HSE activities / initiatives. Demonstrate working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, NACE, AWS, and API codes and testing equipment including Positive Material Identification testing equipment required for the inspection of mechanical commodities including piping, pipe fittings, valves, etc. Attend and witness testing associated with piping and systems. Typical tests include, but are not limited to NDE of designated components, hydrostatic, pneumatic, coatings and others piping QC activities as designated on the approved Inspection Test Plan for the contractor and Subcontractors. Ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out prior to acceptance of the work. Verity materials (pipe and fittings) prior to fabrication to check it with project standards and specifications. Demonstrate strong working knowledge for inspection of work on piping systems including HDPE piping system Job Requirements: Experienced in welding inspection and fabrication of piping and vessels to international codes (ASME, AWS). Demonstrated background and knowledge of codes such as ANSI B31.2, 31.4, and 31.8, ASME Section 1, and other piping system installation related codes and standards. Able to work as an interactive member of a multi-cultural team. Highly motivated and capable of working independently. Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally in English. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software. Conditions: Tengiz, 28x28
