Our client – a Oil and Gas company is looking for Cost and Planning Engineer / Инженер по планированию и контролю затрат.

Location – St. Petersburg.

Responsibilities:

To be the Focal Point in the Engineering team to Finance Department for all cost related issues; Management and Establishment of Project Schedules in Primavera P6 / MS Project; To gather planning data and progress information to evaluate overall project planning and progress status; The Integration of cost data and site progress measurements in Project Schedules to prepare progress curves. Preparation and Update of progress reports including progress curves in the periodic Reports; Develop, Implement and Maintain a cost database for equipment, facilities and project budget and produce forecasts against Annual Budget and Project Budget based on the approved scope of work; Responsible to assist Project and Asset Managers throughout the annual work plan and budgeting process; Develop and Maintain a Project Cost WBS and associated categories for reporting and benchmarking; Prepare project forecasts, including risk budget, allowances, contingency and escalation; Develop cost reports, accruals and other ad-hoc cost reports. To Support Finance in cash call planning; Periodical elaboration of project cost forecasts (including cost at completion; cost to complete, change order analysis and cost trend analysis, VOWD tracking); Work closely with contract engineers and project managers to produce cost deviation reports from the assigned cost plan and proposed mitigation measures for any identified risks; Support project managers in the delivery of projects by the preparation of project plans, asset plans, producing baseline schedules (Level I, II and III), resource profiles and progress models; Provide support and advice to Project Management in planning related issues and functional contribution to the preparation of project and reporting documentation; Develop and Implement cost control and monitoring procedures and methodologies; Analyse existing projects and third-party sources to identify and record the actual costs of similar projects with a view to developing a comprehensive regional asset cost database; Prepare presentations for Technical Committee Meetings and Operations Committee Meetings and other review or governance meetings; Responsible for health, safety, security, and protection of the environment at the workplace, including participation in HSSE trainings according to competency maps and contribution to integrate HSSE into the company culture; Comply with the Company Project Management and Project Services Procedures.

Requirements:

5+ years previous Project Management and Project Cost Estimating and Analysis experience (with an Oil & Gas Operating Company or Design Institute) ; Ability to travel on short term business trips; English - from Upper-Intermediate (the working language is English).
