Responsibilities: Assist with investigations into geophysical problems related to hydrocarbon exploration. Assist in geophysical analyses of seismic as well as other related geophysical data. Conduct, under supervision, advanced geophysical analyses of seismic data in order to efficiently exploit their contribution for accurate subsurface imaging. Prepare reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geophysical studies for review by management. Attend meetings and conferences that contribute significantly to advancing the individual's expertise. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree and/or higher in geophysics/ physics/ mathematics/ computer science with 5 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, 2 years’ experience for candidates with Master, or fresh Ph.D. graduate in above major. Working experiences in the oil industry is preferred but is not a must. Substantial expertise in few of the geophysical disciplines used in hydrocarbon exploration preferred. Skills and experience in people and project management are also preferred. Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking) are important.
