Responsibilities: Assist with investigations into geological problems related to hydrocarbon exploration and/or reservoir characterization. Assist in geological analyses of seismic as well as other related geophysical data. Conduct, under supervision, advanced geological analyses of geophysical data in order to efficiently exploit their contribution for accurate subsurface mapping. Prepare, under supervision, reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geological studies for review by management. Attend meetings and conferences that contribute significantly to advancing the individual's expertise. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager. Requirements: Bachelor degree in geology with 5 years of relevant research experience. Alternatively, 2 years’ experience for candidates with Master, or fresh Ph.D. graduate in geology. Have substantial expertise in few of the geological disciplines used in hydrocarbon exploration and reservoir characterization. The experience may include hands-on technical work, such as basin and numerical modeling. Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking).
