Position Summary:

The general role for the Field Technician is to ensure the proper execution of field work and coordination of the field activities.

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities

Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc. Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with LIN SCAN QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning Coordinate field activities between LIN SCAN team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established LIN SCAN cleaning criteria Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with LIN SCAN procedures and operational requirement Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.

Skills/Experience:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 1 years of operation planning experience Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level English a must! Ability to travel extensively (around the world)!
