Experience

Must have good experience in Oil & Gas Industry in a similar or relevant position
Must have a recognised Technical qualification in LV and HV commissioning
Must have previous experience in testing of Power distribution Control Systems
Must have all the relevant trade accreditations required to perform the tasks required
Have experience in PTW and LOTO process

The Electrical PDCS Commissioning Supervisor is responsible for day to Day Supervision and follow up of Electrical Testing activities of one or more Substations. He works closely with Electrical Supervisor to execute progressive testing of all PDCS I/O test in parallel of Electrical equipment testing.

Primary duties & responsibilities
Facilities In Charge:
• Modular Substation (SIEMENS) HV (110 KV GIS, 35 KV GIS), MV (10 KV, 6.6 KV) and LV
• SIEMENS Power Distribution Control System (PDCS)
• HV VSDS ABB & GE
• 8.5 MW Emergency Generators
• Emerson UPS System

Duties and responsibilities:

• Co-ordination and supervision of Vendors, Subcontractor Technicians.
• Follow up activities using EASYPLANT Software (Completion Database)
• Responsible for safety, safe working practices and environmental issues in all the areas under their control.
• Maintain a comprehensive log of the activities and report progress to Lead Electrical Engineer
• Ensure that the works proceed in conformity with the schedule, and report any deviations to the Lead Electrical Engineer.
• Familiar with OPERCOM Commissioning Methodology.
• Familiar with Russian Norms and Regulation related to electrical testing and commissioning activities
