Accountability

For providing Electrical & I Instrument (E&I) Construction Support to the SEIC TSS Contract.

Basic Functions

Compilation of job cards / workpacks.

Input to test workpacks where applicable.

HSE input to construction workpacks.

Provide constructability input into engineering design where appropriate.

Liaison with offshore surveyors to obtain information and to co-ordinate survey requests.

Support the interface with SEIC Construction.

Actively train and encourage the development of Junior Russian staff to fulfil construction engineer roles.

Principal Responsibilities

Provision of construction input to workpacks to ensure a quality deliverable is produced.

Assure constructability aspects of design.

Shall have worked as a construction engineer or supervisor on offshore or onshore Brownfield/Greenfield modifications work.

Shall be experienced in taking engineering design deliverables and developing the necessary construction input into a workpack, including preparation of job cards and HSE revue/documentation.

Able to communicate clearly with PSNS/GPE project personnel, client engineers, construction teams and third parties.

Good oral & written communication skills.

The candidate will be a keen learner will be motivated to improve self and to accept tuition from the senior Electrical & Instrument team members.

Ability to work unsupervised.

PC Literate.

The candidate must have an awareness of Electrical & Instrumentation Drawings and Electrical & Instrumentation Systems.

The candidate will be able to operate as part of a small team, will demonstrate good safety awareness

The candidate should have an ‘Adequate’ command of the English language. English training will be provided as all workpack deliverables are produced currently in English.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience, 2 years of which in a construction role in offshore/onshore brownfield/greenfield construction.

Familiarity with WPS or similar Job Card system an advantage, training will be provided.

Electrical or Instrumentation technical qualification.

Office based position (not rotation), normal working hours - 40 hours per week, private medical insurance, annual legal travel compensation, 50% subsidized membership in the local fitness centres, English lessons provided, employment by Russian subcontractor company "Gazproektengineering".
