The Ukrainian organization is currently looking for a Distribution Channel Manager, that will be responsible for achieving sales turnover in volume and in value, ensuring business growth, goods distribution and net sales price targets with assigned distributors / channel partners.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term as well as short-term business strategy for respective channels/partners
- Plan and coordinate execution of sales activities with distribution towards achieving agreed business targets (Quarterly/Annual sales planning)
- Plan and manage channel portfolio to agreed targets and market development
- Manage channel sales KPIs, product mix, pricing and margins according to agreed targets
- Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, eg. product launches, special promotions, specified advertising etc
- Communicate with field sales staff/sales representatives on the improvements/changes to be implemented in distribution
- Support Technical Team in organizing centralized product training for respective distributors: central offices as well as regional sales teams
- Works on improvement of partnership between Pioneer and distributors teams at regional level
- Permanently investigate distributor needs (products/services), raise the topics within the company and coordinate response to that
- Provide Sales Management with regular reports and activity plans
- Monitor and signal competitors' activities
- Fulfill other job-related tasks required by management to maximize business results
Candidate profile
- At least 5+ years of successful experience in sales, account management within agriculture industry
- Higher technical or business degree
- Experience in working with or within a distribution channel partner
- Understanding of business finance, experience in P&L management
- Solid communicator with proven negotiation skills
- Strong planning skills, strategic thinking
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Analytical mindset
- Advanced PC user
- Valid driving license and experience
- At least upper intermediate knowledge of English
