Our client is a leading international oil & gas operator Company.

Main Responsibilities:

Analyse, interpret and integrate broad data sets (seismic, rock physics, core, petrophysics, structural, sedimentology, stratigraphy and dynamic data) for reservoir characterization of siliciclastic systems; Develop different scale geostatic models, from sector models to full field model integrating data in order to maximize efficiency of field development program; Collect and provide key data for 3D modelling (including seismic info) and characterization of the reservoir, in order to determine the characteristics of the reservoir and the uncertainties. Generate workflows; Ability to quality control previous 3D models; Software proficiency including experience with packages for modelling (Petrel); Identifying geological factors critical to the effective integration of multidisciplinary information into practical working interpretations; Provide support for reserve estimation under PRMS and Russian Federation guidelines to management and internal/external reserve auditors; Follow-up official appraisal project preparation; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a diverse, multidisciplinary team environment. Must be able to demonstrate a strong HSE awareness.

Requirements:

Higher professional education (Geology or Geophysics); 5+ years industry experience in development geology; 3+ years industry experience in 3D reservoir modelling; Experience in three or more of the following (Geostatistics, Petrophysics, Integrating wireline and seismic data, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, Reservoir Engineering, Reserves Evaluation); Proven experience in different reservoir styles, clastics (shallow and deep basin); Very good skills at integrating the modelling concept, ideas and techniques into 3D model, knowledge in Petroleum Geology / Geomodelling concept and Modelling algorithm; Knowledge of main Russian official G&G related procedures; Proficiency with Petrel; Self-starter, team player, possesses strong analytical and communication skills, and enjoys working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment; English: Upper-Intermediate.
