As an employee you have a responsibility for your own and your colleagues’ safety, as a result you are expected to:
Act on Company Safety Commitments, HSE policies and procedures in compliance with the Safety rules in the employee handbook. You are obliged to follow the Operational Safety Procedure for Road Safety. Develop and execute training plan for maintenance workers. Promote communication as well as good relations between the production and the maintenance departments. Ensure housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained, Drive towards an incident free environment and safe workplace by investigating and implementing corrective measures for near misses and all safety incidents.Day to day duties may vary according to business needs. The following are typical:
Follow the Company Safety Program. Lead the Civil Maintenance team in order to improve their technical knowledge on safety and maintenance, based upon experience and learning from international oil companies and other Company Business units. Carry out ‘Tool Box Talks’, arrange regular examinations of the Civil Maintenance Team (including Contractors) attainments. Responsible for Civil Maintenance personnel (including Contractors) on following all valid Company’s operational safety procedures, production procedures, guidelines, orders of employer, regulating acts and safe execution of all works in the production area. Ensuring the provision of adequate resources to carry out the activities in the 28-day plan. Planning, coordination and execution of all Civil maintenance activities to ensure system availability targets are achieved / exceeded. Provide Team Lead with regular reports with analysis and comment on performance and results. Be held accountable for area of responsibility. Ensure permit-to-work requirements are delivered. Initiate and develop specific Civil Maintenance procedures, work instructions, work plans, inspection and testing schedules within the maintenance management system and ensure compliance. Review equipment history files and ensure accurate recorded histories in work order completions. Supervise quality of work by of the Civil Maintenance Contractors Ensure that Civil works are carried out in accordance with Company HSE policy, companies’ management of change procedures and work permit system. Continually strive to improve plant operability, availability, reliability and efficiency (Uptime). Fully conversant with CMMS (SAP PM) Monitor cost controls and expenses towards optimum utilization of company’s resources within area of Civil Maintenance responsibility; question variances between actual expenditure and budget. Attend MWM meetings and Support MWM Work Order Management and planning processes in the specific area of Civil maintenance. Follow the general Work Order Management “7 Step Process” (1. Work Identification. 2. Prioritisation. 3. Planning. 4. Scheduling. 5. Work Execution. 6. Work Closure, Feedback and Documentation. 7. Work Status Control & Performance Metrics) to support provision of robust PM and CM data as required. Assurance of Safety Critical Elements (SCE) through supporting execution of Civil Maintenance Assurance PM’s. Support of Opportunity Civil Maintenance / Unplanned Events from a scope preparation perspective as required. Provide support in Civil discipline related troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, investigations, near misses etc. Participate in audits, inspections and surveys, as required. Attend and assist supervising major, important and/or critical breakdown jobs. Provide inputs for shut down planning activities within areas of responsibility.Qualifications & Experience:
Higher professional (technical) education Minimum 5 years’ experience in Civil Maintenance activities in Oil and Gas Industry English - Upper-Intermediate
