JOB TITLE: Senior Specialist on Training & Development
REPORTS TO: Head of HR Department
CONTEXT: Human Resources Department of WIUT plays an essential role in developing University’s strategy. The main function of HR professionals focuses on the University’s greatest resource – its employees. HR professionals establish systems for performance development, career succession planning and employee development. The post will be responsible to plan and administer programs to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge to compete effectively and meet the University’s objectives
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To be responsible for identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with managers; To be responsible for identifying the need for specific training sessions by using different approaches: questionnaires, meetings, discussions, etc.; To be able to provide relevant training and teambuilding sessions using internal and external resources; To be responsible for developing individual learning plans by organizing necessary trainings, teambuilding and professional sessions, draft and prepare schedules for training sessions; Organizing trainings and development sessions after analyzing all needs using internal resource, if needed external as well. Communicates with trainers, develop and conclude terms and conditions for training services, prepares and distributes the needed materials, etc.; To monitor and review the progress of training programs through questionnaires and discussions with managers; To be responsible for developing and implementing appraisal programs; To collect all information that is related to Performance Appraisal program and prepare table and form of interview for participants, participate on interview being a responsible party, enter the data to intranet system, monitor the process and collect ready evaluation criteria to overall analysis; To participate on appraisal interview process as panel member if needed from HR team to lead an interview and monitor the effectiveness of process; To prepare overall analysis of performance activity of employees annually for administrative and junior staff; To participate and objectively provide feedback on performance appraisal to managers to develop effective environment; To analyse and evaluate derived information after feedback process from managers, fulfilling employee need and recommendation, monitoring the process; To be responsible to record and save gathered analysis and pay attention to the confidentiality; To be able to feedback on skills and competency development and use, related to an agreed development plan; To enhance and develop the performance of Training and Development Section, working on improvements; To participate as an observer in interview on performance appraisal of academic staff; To be responsible for developing and implementing staff motivation programs; To take part in induction process and manage the probation period.Person Specification

Qualification
1st degree in an appropriate area and preferably a post graduate degree Candidates should be have a good understanding of EnglishExperience
Evidence of work experience in administrative positions Evidence of team working and contribution as a team member Evidence of critical and analytical problem solution skills Work with documents and analysis of gathered dataAptitudes, Abilities, Skills and Personal Qualities
