Required Skills and Experience:



General programming skills

Experience with REST APIs, HTTP- based communication

Experience with Java 7+ and its web ecosystem: Spring 3+ (IoC, AoP, MVC), Hibernate, JPA, JDBC, Tomcat (configuration, administration).

Java debugging skills (working with debugger, general application troubleshooting)

Experience with SQL (dev level)

Working remotely with Linux-based machines (via SSH etc.), with basic administrative skills (Tomcat configuration, logs processing, basic command-line skills etc.)

Basic JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js runtime knowledge

Good spoken and written English

Additional Competences:



Some performance tuning experience is useful in the long-term: finding ‘memory leaks', deadlocks, optimizing data-structures, etc.

Experience with profilers, analyzing memory dumps is valuable.

Basic AWS skills (EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, Cognito)

Experience with TeamCity

Experience with Serverless.js, Express.js, Vue.js.
